>>10808614There's artist in the technical sense and artist in the creative/innovative sense and Ina is as far as I can tell 100% technical. This is just the babby step before actually really being inventive as an artist. Picasso could paint fucking photorealistic portraits FYI and that was in fact, his early work before he got all abstract. If you think being a good artist is just technical that is missing the forest for the trees real, real hard.
I think Ina knows this, but doesn't sell herself as an actual high-society / visionary artist in the true sense - just someone who is technically competent, utilizing those skills as a wombocombo into her personal hobbies. Vtubing is kind of a mishmash of these leanings yet again - something she can do from home no problem, something kind of anime-ish/involves Japan a lot but also is an income source, lets you be a part of some otaku centric industry. I don't blame her for doing these things, it's just smart if you don't have any aspirations to have your stuff in the Louvre in 100 years which she never gave even a slight hint of wanting.
