>>108147936The current longest gap between EN waves is 295 days, from 24 May 2024 (Denauth) to 15 March 2025 (BTB). That many days since BTB's debut will be this coming Sunday (4 Jan 2026)
The branch hasn't made any moves to indicate that a new wave might be debuting any time soon, and the all-male "immersion" wave probably won't debut before mid-June (if the branch even lasts that long) due to the typical audition-interview-training timeline.
>>108148046They're only keeping the EN branch alive so they can tell the investors that the branch is currently still alive. I'm not sure why they want to or (legally?) need to maintain the charade that the EN branch is viable, but as soon as that desire or requirement expires so too will the branch.
>>108148062Two things about that:
1. Saying that the EN branch, though hemorrhaging revenue, is still doing better than the ID branch was at its closure, is not really a ringing endorsement of how well the EN branch is currently doing.
2. The ID branch was only closed alongside the KR branch so that the suits wouldn't have to tell the investors that the KR branch was being closed and half its livers getting sacked due to gross mismanagement. It would have been unseemly to close JUST the KR branch as a "cost cutting measure" while keeping the ID branch in operation, and the company quite literally values its perception of its reputation more than the actual lives of its talents, never mind the talents' livelihoods.
tldr the ID branch died for the KR branch management's sins
