Some thoughts about Pekotyan’s relationships with other holomen in 2025
Sankisei: Whatever anyone says, they are still some of the most important people to Pekotyan. Although they’re not very close outside of work, they are perfect partners for her to work with. They understand how to interact with Pekotyan, and she is always at ease when collaborating with them, both on-stream and off-stream.
Vivi: A very unique pairing, their start and flow feel natural. I don’t like how people try to ship them, and even Pekotyan herself doesn’t like it. I think their relationship is the perfect senpai–kouhai dynamic. From the beginning, Pekotyan wanted to push Vivi toward success: she told her what she should do as a streamer when they played Minecraft, helped think about which games were suitable for a newbie like Vivi, didn’t try to keep Vivi to herself, but instead created opportunities for Vivi to interact with as many people as possible, and invited Vivi to all the events Pekotyan organized. This is the first time I’ve seen Pekotyan do something like that, and Vivi is fortunate to have someone like her. (Maybe it’s fate.)
Azki: The perfect motherly type. I feel very lucky that my bunuy has someone like Azki as a friend. She’s like a bridge between Pekotyan and other people, and she understands Pekotyan so well that she can invite her out anytime. Besides Sankisei, I think she’s the only holomen Pekotyan can talk to comfortably IRL.
Nenechi: She’s like a little sister to Pekotyan. Unlike Vivi, Pekotyan just wants her to always be happy and energetic. Pekotyan spoils Nene like a little sister, so much that Pekotyan doesn’t even realize it herself, similar to how she treats Shion. I’m looking forward to their eating date and Disney trip.
Luna: I feel Pekotyan has a strange feeling toward Luna: a little admiration and a little fondness. I’ve noticed that Pekotyan always picks up Hime’s lines when she collaborates with her. Pekotyan said she doesn’t need them to get closer in the future—it’s just that she really likes her, and I love that kind of relationship.
Kanata: I think she’s the holomen whose personality is closest to Pekotyan’s: their views on social relationships, working style, and even streaming style. I saw a clip where Kanata imitated Pekotyan’s thoughts about her, and it surprisingly matched Pekotyan perfectly (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPtjVX8LWrM). The Hokkaido trip was a rare occasion where they could have some memories while working in Hololive. I hope they can keep in contact after Kanata graduates.
Laplus: I feel Pekotyan really loved Laplus’s character from the first time they interacted: bratty on-stream but well-mannered off-stream, which reminds me of Pekotyan in her early days. This is a rare trait, and I understand why Pekotyan often invites Laplus to join her events.
