Cover made Kiara agree to at least a 2 year contract renewal for the sololive and the multiple graduations are damaging their reputation. Hololive will likely have a few more JP graduations in 2026 but they can't really afford to demoralize EN fans more than they already have.

Kiara stated the reason for Ame creating the affiliate deal was so the door to Hololive wouldn't be locked. 2025 has given me every reason to be skeptical of management but with so many graduations having a talent actually return would look good.

It'd be kinda weird to see a Hololive without Kiara. I got interested in this whole thing because I thought they debuted and were going to build around the genre of game they play (as opposed to being musicians and doing stage performances because that's not what you initially assume) and Kiara played RPGs which I liked.
So far as I know the only ones that play RPGs that would be left are Shiori (Digimon) and Mori (Persona) and they don't stream in my time zone (then again neither does Kiara lolololol)
It wouldn't be the end of the world I guess but it would change how I approach Hololive as a whole. I'd probably become more competitive about wanting to outperform them (underdog) instead of wanting to join them (cooperative)
But I dunno. We'll see I guess.
