Do you really enjoy watching vtubers play guy-games? You want her to be "one of the guys" or something?

The only parts of Dragon Ball Kakarot that aren't trash are the cutscenes. Its whole purpose is for people to check a worse version of the manga without having to read. It's a girl game.

Yeah, that part kinda annoys me cuz a lot people who play it are experiencing DBZ for the first time and are thusly missing out on a lot of content/context

Like? It has more filler plot points from the anime than necessary and several sidequests with additional fluff.
The only thing I noticed were a few iconic moments during fights not being translated because the fags were to lazy to animate it, like Piccolo getting his arm sucked dry and him ripping it off and growing a new one in response

Because it would be to gory. All the stuff like Vegeta hitting kid gohan and dende, killing civilians on purpose instead of Goku dodging the attack. Kid Gohan butt naked instead of having his pants on after transforming back. Krillin asuming Piccolo wants to eat Gohan.
Perfect Cell had a few fights cut. The whole inside of Majin Boo

The game omits some major moments like Vegeta using the Final Flash for the first time and Cell getting really freaked out by Gohan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYDSaxpT34U). Also it's criminal that they included the driving filler episode but didn't include the outfits Goku and Piccolo wear in it which is the most memorable part. Specially weird because they did include Vegeta's similarly humorous BADMAN outfit and made him wear it for longer than in the actual show.

There are a few outlier like Ange who started reading the Manga with the game and in some streams talks more about the Manga than actually playing the game.

Trying to cover all of Z in one game is a big project and it's one of the better anime to game adaptions.
