which chuubas had the most improvement in singing since debut? i don't mean that they sing good now, but they've at least improved.

I couldn't disagree more. She was my oshi for a long time and I was a huge deadbeat. Her singing voice from 2020-2022 was a lot more natural and cuter than it is now that she's been taking vocal lessons. The generic "husky" vocals she does now are fucking atrocious. I sincerely hate to shit on Mori since she already gets it bad from others, and I used to happily listen to everything she put out, but fucking lord have her vocals taken a massive hit. I can't even listen to her modern music, and I really used to love it, even when everyone else was shitting on it hard.

Mori always sounds like she's in a /v/ sings. Yeah I know. It's like she has this idea in her head "I need to sound like X". For some songs it's fine. For other songs it sounds really boring.

I like Ina a lot, and she has certainly improved, but she's been at it for over 5 years, while I feel like the level of progress she's had is something she should have been able to achieve in a couple months at most.
I don't know, maybe natural predisposition really does matter more than I usually give it credit for, and this is truly the best she can do.

Do corpos not pay for some coaching for their tubers?
You would not try to perform with an instrument you have not learned how to play before.
Seems like a no brainer to take some lessons, especially given their baseline talent.
It would take less than a year for most of these girls.

Alright, but is there anyone who has gotten WORSE at singing over time?
I tuned in to Haachama's karaoke some time ago and was genuinely appalled by how bad it was. But then again, I hadn't listened to her music much before, so I'm not sure if she was always that bad.

We're definitely in the minority but I fully agree, the forced whispery singing she goes for now is awful. She should have worked on her natural voice instead of shifting her singing entirely.

Debut Mori to peak Mori is a big improvement in a short amount of time, but since then she's only been getting worse. Thank God we got End of a Life before the shift.

While I don't know if she got "worse" she definitely changed, and this helped me understand what >>108491617 meant about Elvis. That voice she does is definitely offputting. I have to say her projection got a lot better, though. If I had to pick one I'd take the later Mori, but not by much.

It did, which just makes it more frustrating. Her technique has clearly improved, but she nerfs herself with a completely subjective choice.
