How do people have time to talk to their doctors enough to get a reaction like that?

Same thing when I was in the hospital, I only saw the doctor for like, a minute tops.

To be fair it was systolic and diastolic heart failure. My only option was to sit there in that hospital bed and take the shots they prescribed me and the clinic visits afterwards are just monitoring stuff. So far as I know there's only one treatment for it so they're just going through the motions.
They're good people, they just tell me if my heart is working or not then go to the next patient. Thumbs up from them, thumbs up from me.
I guess every doctor is different however.

Depends on your condition, if any. Routine stuff is fast but any slightly threatening condition makes them spend significantly more time since they gotta narrow down the possible causes.
In any case the woman in the OP is probably incredibly annoying to deal with, or at the very least I've never had issues with them at all. Nurses, on the other hand, can go fuck themselves with a cactus.

135/85 quite literally IS within the normal and healthy range for someone's blood pressure to be at. It's like freaking out because your BPM is 10 beats faster than your baseline, it's a normal fluctuation and probably fine. Shondo is just an annoying hypochondriac.

To be fair, while that’s the baseline, the "acceptable" range actually goes pretty far (anything below 140/100 can be considered "acceptable", or not needing to take meds for it). I think asking if 135/85 can be acceptable is fair for anyone who doesn’t know and want to be safe
(That’s what several doctors told me. My family doesn’t have any history of heart issue but our BPs have always been on the higher side of normal range. My resting BP is almost always around 128-135 / 90+, for example)

Below 140/100 is only an "acceptable" blood pressure if you already have established hypertension. If your resting blood pressure is always higher than 140/90 you should objectively be on meds. 135/90 is considered pre-hypertensive or stage 1 hypertension on the latest guidelines (not normal either) and you should seek lifestyle changes.
