Dunno, both her and Heartsync are too professional to say anything concrete about it. And as far as anyone can tell no she didn't need to pay for the IP, but there's always the possibility that they did sell it and just agreed not to say that happened. At the very least, if a sale did occur it was reasonably priced enough that Miki isn't salty.
