>>108972693The EN started to become a fake moniker rather than stated fact, it's clear the company is indirectly pressuring the talents to become more JP based now that the pandemic is done and over with, the California branch is basically a tax write off as 90% of their 3D performances and big events are held in japan, 2/3 of the EN talents now living over there, and the rest now have to frequently travel there to do the idol work Cover is now prioritizing over streaming.
Gura and Fauna both had a long list of neurosis, flying is a big issue with Fauna, and Gura has issues with going out in public, so having those two screwballs frequently being forced to fly to another country to do idol work when they'd clearly rather be streaming was eventually gonna blow up in their face.
Mumei's the only real excuse, that voice/cough shit is never gonna get better, it's sadly going to follow her for the rest of her life, and if she wanted to choose trying to preserve her health as long as she could over entertaining a bunch of sad sacks, it sucks, but that's her choice.
Amelia is the biggest sad story though, and honestly handled it the most gracefully too.
Cover basically treated her like a second class in the beginning, she ran tech support for Myth in the early days because they were sent out to die, she was basically the team manager because Cover couldn't get their shit together handling an international team so split apart, she had frequent ideas for projects and collabs that got shot down the moment she voiced them, and was still man enough to respectfully accept the affiliate role when she had enough, rather than just flipping them the bird and walking away.
