>>109004379The sisters' obsession with trying to paint Doki as the bad guy makes a lot more sense when you look at it in the context of cult behavior. They are a cult, Niji is the cult leader*, and the cult leader can do no wrong; if X being true would reflect poorly on the cult leader, then X is false, even if the cult leader previously admitted that X is true.
The fact that she was harassed from within the company is not a fact in dispute, by her or by the company. Both parties acknowledged that it happened, the company acknowledged it before she did, and the company went further than she did by mentioning that she had been harassed by other livers.
But this is a fact which reflects poorly on the company, and then the cult behavior kicks in. Add a pinch of DARVO, and you get the sisters claiming that she was the one doing the harassing.
*Whether or not management intended the company to be the actual or de facto cult leader, or whether or not they're even aware that the sisters worship the company as such, is irrelevant. The sisters worship the company as an infallible cult leader, with or without having been nudged in that direction by the suits.
