>>109236921I don't watch EN much so I can't speak for them, but from what I've seen the vibes aren't that much different in terms of just guys being dudes. JP fans often compare the JP guys to a boys club and when they get together for collabs they become rowdy and will trash talk each other if it's a competitive game. But if they get together for a chill game the vibe is more mellow, fans like that they can get together and be friendly or vicious with each other.
For members who stand out I'd say it's Roberu and Astel. Roberu's charisma and chatting ability has carried him to the top spot in terms of subs/viewership (including against EN), Astel's viewership isn't what it used to be but I still think he's the most well-known amongst viewers and fellow vtubers next to Roberu, and he's a very talented performer/gamer. Aruran is close behind them gaining attention by being a collab monster.
I've been following them since 2021 and from what I've seen over the years, a lot of fans have sadly left, probably feeling disillusioned with the group and/or management. Around 2021-22 they had a lot of kaigai fans, which I think either moved to StarsEN or other EN vtubers who debuted around then. Fans seem to be split between those who want the talents to do more to try growing and the fans who are content with things as they are, or those who have just given up on the group and only watch their oshi.
