There's a massive difference in a girl ostensibly being her own producer when comes to making a song and uploading it to youtube VS Cover itself having step in to produce the materials like CDs and Jewel cases, commission an artist for cover art and handling the logistics of shipping all those CDs out across the world
If they've made about 5000~ copies her album but only sold 2000 within the first few weeks of it being up for sale, they're obvious gonna ask her to shill it a bit more (which worked since the last time she mentioned it, they said it was doing well)

There are small indie vtubers who get nendos they definitely would have earned money selling a Mumei nendo. Cover was angry with Mumei so they cancelled her nendo the same way they kept delaying her 1 million wish outfit so that she would never get it. Hololive did a lot of vindictive shit to Mumei in her last year and it will be absurdly suspicious if the Promise nendos aren't shown at the 2026 Wonder Festival.

First, Mumei herself said she wanted to change it because she didn't like some of the scenes amd she had made the mistake of trusting Kanauru to approach the subject matter with tact. She didn't have time to review it before publishing it because she received the finished animation minutes before she uploaded it.

Second, both Mumei and Gura are literally Jewish. Kanauru replaced the nazi symbols on the Hindenburg with KFP and Kiara is Austrian. If you don't understand why that might have been awkward for them, you're a moron.

No, that's progression of simple logic. Mumei told us she didn't have time to check the MV before she uploaded it and so she wasn't aware of what Kanauru put in it. She told us she took it down to request changes be made to it after realizing what was in it. That means only one of three possible things: either
she didn't care what was in it
OR
she trusted Kanauru to not put anything bad in it.
OR
she was lying and actually wanted the challenger disaster scene and the scene alluding to Kiara being a Nazi but Cover made her change it

Approaching the discussion in good faith means assuming Mumei was telling the truth and that she actually cared about her projects, and thus, that only leaves the second option.
