Phase Connect, NijisanjiEN and the EN indie scene have clearly demonstrated that vtubing should have never left Japan.
I have ended all my EN chuuba subscriptions and am going to exclusively talk about and support Japanese vtubers from now on.

Westerners lack the backbone and strength of spirit of the Japanese and are thus fundamentally incapable of performing for long in jobs created in the Japanese culture. In order to keep them from washing out, they have to be babied and coddled. I suspect that this is why Calliope Mori has lasted this long. Kiara is exempt because she's German, and Germans have similar ironclad work ethics as Japanese.

If you think that JP chuubas are better then you clearly forgot about Rushia, Meina, Akira Mazono etc...
If you were enjoying some EN vtuber, don't throw the baby out with the bath water just because there are a lot of dreck out there. If you wanna reduce the total amount of horrible Western vtubers, then support the ones you like rather than abandoning the sector.

There have been numerous JP yabs and a lot of controversial JP chuubas. However, that is not my point. The point is Japanese vtubers aren't immune to the ills that befall English speaking vtubers, so watching Japanese vtubers because a portion of English ones are bad is dumb. Especially when OP likes certain English ones enough to subscribe to them.
