Hololive virtual concerts
>tiny ass stages that either look like shit or don't match the models of the girls
>awful lighting and rendering on everything
>no props because their tracking is terrible and can't handle it
>audio issues constantly despite being pre-recorded half the time(while still pretending it's live)
>girls never get alternate costumes(outside of an idol outfit template), or don't have them ready in time(4th gen)
Nijisanji Virtual concerts
>similar issues to hololive(bad looking stages, occasional audio issues)
>stages still don't match the character models at all
>better tracking and better rendered models(though the models are usually worse in quality outside of that)
>also pre-recorded usually(while also pretending they're live)
>no costumes at all
Chinese vtuber virtual concerts
>has the best looking stages out of all of them BUT they also have some of the lowest quality 3D models out of all them as well
>even then they still manage to make the models look good in these 3D environments
>when something is pre-recorded, they don't even try to pretend it's not and uses that as an excuse to make high quality music videos with the vtubers exclusive to the event
>models are rendered well(even in the actual live segments, which they still have), sometimes the best out of the three in that regard, also has better tracking on objects
>vtubers will get special costumes JUST FOR THE EVENT that they can seamlessly switch between without having to pan off screen or have them go behind another object
>the companies that put these together are smaller than both of the Japanese ones
How do Japanese vtubers get away with this? Ichikara and Cover are the two biggest vtuber companies out there and it feels like they fail to deliver on the quality they should be able to deliver given their size and status. If chinks can do it, why can't they?
