>>109355289>the AI chatbot shit is gonna get so good within I'd say a decade or two and that's what's going to kill traditional vtubingI disagree. Not because there won't be AI or AI chatbots in the future, but because there'll always exist a group of people that will perceive what an AI says as predictable and people will always chase something that is (or feels) real. Why do you think so many people reminiscent of the old internet, when objectively, from a technological point it was inferior to the performance of the current web? Because back then you had people do shit only because they wanted to, not to please an algorithm, to farm ad revenue, to chase clout; hell back then you were discouraged from posting anything about your personal life. You just found a platform relevant to what you liked, and hopped on a forum to talk for an hour or two. Today even under the guise of anonymity some of you fuckers are so fake and predictable it's honestly sad. All just so that you, the personal named Anonymous don't look cringe.
Seeing someone grow will always be more preferable to any company mandated ERP machine. It's the reason why people OSHI (push) someone towards being better, and even with AI in mind, it's the reason why people watch someone like Neuro whilst other AI tubers don't register.
Sorry for rambling.
