>>109407438Rant about Miko drama:
The Green Channel potential copyright infringement was just the spark. It has been building up for some time. The antis claim that Miko bullied Haato, Kanata, and Pekora. Using holomem to destroy holomem is a very effective tactic. Notice the 3 members chosen: Haato is on hiatus, Kanata is graduated, and Pekora completely avoids/ignores her. This is crucial because there is no chance for any solid counter-evidence. So, even though the bullying evidence is inconclusive, it still stands because of the lack of counter-evidence and now the Green Channel incident.
The Green Channel incident is important because it paints Miko as an evil/bad person. Without it, there would be no motivational reason for why Miko allegedly bullies holo members. Miko repeated a few sentences from a paid horse racing stream. First of all, it's not really even about the copyright infringement. She only repeated a few sentences and also, at that time she did not explicitly state/disclose that she was doing it, which would mean that the only way people knew that she did it was because they were also watching/listening to the same paid stream. Therefore, Miko's stream would not have any effect on Green Channel's paid subscriptions. The true problem I think, is that Miko sort of cheated/plagiarized. By repeating the sentences, she took a shortcut for content. Instead of saying original words, she repeated what they said. I don't view this as her being lazy; the lazy thing to do would be to be silent and not talk, or even to not stream at all. In fact, it is her trying so hard that she uses questionable methods.
Now, with the Sora collab stream, it is the same thing. She suddenly felt sick, but instead of immediately cancelling the stream, she delayed the Youtube waiting room by 30 minutes. And, I get her logic, IF the cause of the sickness was food poisoning, then after vomiting, maybe she would feel well enough to stream. However, in the end, she just wasted people's time. Miko is trying hard to do her best, which is a part of her core personality. And, because of these things, she has been portrayed as an evil person. Sidenote: In the past I watched a Noel clip where she talked about how she thinks that it's unfair that if a good person does one bad thing, then some people think that they are actually a bad person.
Finally, I'm going to talk about the anti's justifications. Well, some of them anti her for more simple reasons like because she is a woman, or because they are envious of her position. But, a lot of them are idealists who truly think that destroying the bad is good and maybe even necessary for a better society. A few years ago, I thought of a fucked up trolley problem: The Earth is going to be blown up (all life on the planet will die) by terrorists or aliens or whatever, and the ONLY way to stop it is for someone to rape a kid (children can't consent so it is rape). You get to decide the person who rapes the kid, and you can choose either a pedophile or a non-pedophile to rape the kid. Now, obviously both choices are terrible and one of them has to be chosen by you in order to save Earth. But after reading so many anti tweets and seeing their idealistic justice, I have recently thought of a 3rd solution: Before the hypothetical even begins, destroy every single pedophile in existence. That way when it occurs, there will be only one choice left.
The Miko bench picture: it has put my own and other people's focus on the bench and the rest of the files. If a closer examination is done, something will be revealed. On her sidebar, there are 2 different folders with the exact same name: "screenshots". Both of them are pinned to her quick access, or maybe it's the same folder somehow pinned twice, but either way, it is objectively bad organization. Miko is not flawless.
