>>10953326>>10949893It's too late for NijiEN.
Hololive has home field advantage and early move advantage. They completely colonized the international market there's no competition no contest, they are on their own tier so far ahead from everyone else there's no way they'll catch up.
The ENvtuber market is now bloated and packed, there are already big names on Twitch and Hololive dominates youtube.
NijiEN has truly talented girls and they work hard but that's just not enough to "get noticed" anymore. Brand name and word of mouth are too powerful and people know Hololive, they know each member due to collabs and clips and because they all are so iconic.
Nijisanji has a million litterally who members and they hardly have big interactions, they leave behind people like crazy and that does not help their brand recognition.
The Nijisanji name basically means nothing because there's nothing that stands out as cohesive and homogenous among them. Hololive has their idol bullshit and even though not every member commits to the idol ideal they play all play along with it enough to keep consistency in the company.
Lastly it doesn't matter if Nijisanji had first move advantage in Japan and had a firm grasp over that market if they have been slowly eroding away and losing ground.
Nijisanji's business model is simply too outdated and not competitive enough to keep up with Hololive.
Look at what they are doing with the EN market now. Instead of rethinking their approach and letting all of their members a chance to blossom and grow they are already throwing in new members as if having more=better when in reality this is a matter of quality over quantity if you want to grow.
This isn't Sony vs Nintendo, this is Sony vs a literally who company only old people in Japan still care about.
Call me a tribalist idiot if you want but I genuinely want there to be more competition in the scene, I'd like the NijiEN girls to succeed but these are just the facts.
