In the end, objectively it’s not a big deal, only it was unnecessary drama.
The point is, why people get so anal about this? is because people were afraid Phase would go the same path as Niji or Holo, like Vietnam flashbacks.

From the fans, they reaffirm their support and back up their oshis, and most importantly, keep Phase in check.
