Also, I don't know if it's just me, but I found OOT to be lackluster, too, but I loved Majora's Mask.
I think my main issue with Zelda games is that I hate dungeons, and MM has a greater emphasis on overworld content.

It is only hard if you don't pay attention to the water mechanics (rise and fall).
