Who fucking cares if someone pays money to someone well off or someone struggling, it changes nothing about the underlying systems at play. This logic is just an excuse for holier than thou moralizing, or somebody who needs to continually drink their own koolaid to convince themselves they're helping the world donating to one indie at a time.
I mean, I donate to small streamers instead of large streamers as well, it's just caring about this sort of thing is perhaps the bottom of the list of anyone's priorities.
