but Selen was an OG, biggest or second biggest ccv girl in niji, hard-carried projects, stellar reputation in the public eye, etc. so the smear campaign didn't work and rather backfired.
and even then they would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the black stream, even after the termination there was still a huge amount of nijicucks trying to believe only the faceless suits at anycolor are to blame and all the organs are wholesome chunguses who probably feel for Selen etc. yada yada. But they had to do the black stream, they just had to, it was imperative! And the rest is history.
