>>109562974>a lot of Amelia Watson's "sisters" got a massive boost from her fandomCorrect me if I'm wrong, but the only notable Ame indie sisters I can think of are Uto and Peo.
You could argue that Uto received attention from the english-speaking community having debuted her vtuber model not long after Ame's, but even then she was already starting to gain traction in Japan before Myth even debuted as a whole.
Peo may have been put on the map by the model, but she started to gain traction much later, helped by her participation in the 2024 Vtuber Awards, where she didn't win but which helped many people become aware of her. She grinded like crazy, reducing her success to the fact that she was a clone of Ame would be very reductive. Also, even though she is a self-proclaimed fan of Ame, I doubt there is much overlap between the two fanbases.
>Even Chinese shadow corpo debuted multiple vtubers with the same artist just to take advantage of itI'm not sure which corpo you're referring to, but to me SVP comes to mind, which relatively recently debuted its first generation using several famous VTuber's artists (Kamame, Itiso, KT, etc.), but it doesn't seems to me that they inclined any differently from all the other similar small corpos thanks to that.
All this to say that I don't think that sharing a famous VTuber's artist particularly contributes to increasing one's numbers quickly, if at all.
