At some point the brainworms start eating her mind that ikigai is doomed and that hima isn't really her friend and the whole thing was a mistake etc. At this time, siena from heartsync, who is also believed /here/ to be jane heartsync herself since heartsync is a fake corp too, swoops in out of nowhere and honeypots ruru, rebuilding her confidence in record time.
Ruru and hima decide together(?) to join heartsync, with ikigai essentially being "gen2". Until then only had their initial 3 members, since they were a new "corp". For unrelated reasons nobody knows, miki, one of the initial heartsync members, decides to leave - it's known it's not related, since miki is on far better terms with ruru+hima than she is with siena+kumu who she basically has not spoken with since.
A month later ruru reveals she's been dumping large amounts of cash into some other girl she's planning on debuting into ikigai, but that girl not wanting to join heartsync too led to some serious issues between ruru and jane heartsync. Ruru decided the exchange was so utterly unprofessional and impossible that she was defecting from heartsync because jane heartsync (most likely siena) acts like a fucking child instead of reasoning out business negotiations & decisions, and ruru thought this was going to be a bad omen for things to come even if this particular issue (which she thought was ultimately a non-issue that could be solved) was solved. Ruru wanted to remain as friends/collab partners but just divest all business/financials from each other so her perceived issues are no longer a factor and it doesn't matter if they act like children all the time. Jane heartsync apparently goes nuclear burning all bridges behind the scenes in response, and ruru returns the favor.
So heartsync is really just back to where they started, they didn't implode. Granted, where they started wasn't all that great.
Ruru on the other hand is also graduating because she's given up on ikigai being a good idea in the first place. Mainly because she feels hima and the other girl were never really her friend, they constantly give her shit for everything that happens ever, and never show any appreciation for anything she does do for them or otherwise. She also feels like a fucking idiot for wasting so much money on ikigai when she could've just spent it all on her own shit instead for better results for her fans.
That said she also doesn't actually blame them, just blames herself for treating people she barely knows like they're best friends when they never were and they really shouldn't have been.
