My ticket:
>Hi! There's been a lot of confusion and speculation about recent events, and I'm reaching out hoping to get clarity.
>This is what I've heard from others or seen first-hand: Cheroulac posted and later deleted an image of a cup size calculation using Pillow's reference sheet; he's no longer in this Discord server; and his YouTube comments on both of Pillow's channels are gone.
>Did moderators of this server or Pillow's YouTube channels take action against him? If so, what action did they take and why? How much of this is Pillow aware of?
>What piwwos are particularly concerned about is the apparent banning of Cher from Pillow's YouTube channels, given that he's a long-time dedicated piwwo. Is he in fact banned, for how long, and can it be appealed?
>I'm sorry to say that the lack of transparency about all of this has weakened trust among some piwwos. I think there are some uncharitable and bad-faith assumptions being made by a few of them, but I'm assuming there's a reasonable explanation that simply hasn't been communicated.
>I'd appreciate any information you can share.
The moderators' response:
>Hey Notta,
>1. Cheroulac has been given multiple warnings regarding his behavior in the server breaking the rules.
>Many community members have felt uncomfortable, with several leaving the community because of a lack of action being taken, with a sentiment that we're okay with Cheroulac's behavior and suggesting favoritism over other members.
>We want Pillowcord to be a comfortable space for the community. His behavior regarding NSFW and suggestive content in the server breaks the rules, and he has been issued warnings multiple times previously. This is especially important as we do have minors in the server.
>2. The ban on Cheroulac is a temporary one. It's for 4 months, and after that he can rejoin conversations.
>We don't expect people to change overnight, and we hope that given all of our previous warnings, that this is sufficient for Cheroulac to understand their actions with other community members. We are aware that such a duration is very harsh, but we hope that Cheroulac uses this time to understand his impact on the community and uses this opportunity to continue working on himself. He can still read stuff in the future, so keep that in mind and be respectful and polite.
>3. Regarding moderator decisions and transparency.
>If we were to announce the details behind tickets with members, it'd cause a lot of piwwos to not feel comfortable coming forward to submit tickets when they have issues. There's a lot of sensitive information involved in some of them so we'd rather be discrete. We're aware with Cheroulac being such a prominent member that things were going to be discussed but it's no reason for us to start effectively a campaign against Cheroulac for his behavior, nor is it what the community is about.
>We still want him to be a part of the community but he needs to consider his behavior's impact on the community moving forward. So we ask to respect his privacy during this time and give him the opportunity to learn and grow.
They said I can ask further questions, so is there anything you want to know?
