>>109846368I don't have the burning hatred for Biboo that the other guy has but I am a Kaniki who's seen a couple of Biboo streams and has tuned into a karaoke of her's here and there. I think the problem Kanikis have with her is more than just "Gura hates her, therefore we hate her". The problem is that we see her as not just a lesser Gura/Saba, but a cheap copy of Senzawa.
People often say "Biboo is a Gura replacement", but the thing is she acts nothing like Gura. Gura is faaaaaaaar more laid back and timid than her. She tends to speak softly and only perks up with confidence when talking 1-on-1, usually with chat. She likes doing fun bits and skits for her streams, but they don't occur often.
Senzawa though? Yeah. Biboo's personality feels like a desperate attempt to be the next Senzawa. She doesn't feel genuine, she feels like an industry plant created by suits who watched every Senzawa upload and was told "Ok, act like this girl but in a more family friendly way. Reference memes all the time and make stupid parodies of meme songs, like sticking out your gyatt. Be a cute loli memelord like her and embrace being cringe, everyone lives a cute anime girl who's acts stupid and silly, but make sure you keep it family friendly cause we really wanna rake in younger fans." Even her love of Devil May Cry doesn't feel genuine. It also feels like Cover suits told her "Hey, Gura likes Devil May Cry too, so start obsessing over that and make it apart of your personality too".
And I think the reason Gura "dislikes her" is because she saw through all of it.
