Everyone is engaged with each other because everyone who's still alive is under suspicion.
You can't really get "talked over" because someone will always ask you some kind of question eventually in the emergency meetings.
And outside of the meetings, you're just talking to your own chat like any normal non-collab stream.
Even when you're killed, there's still stuff to do in the game (ghosts can perform tasks), and you can also have a voice chat with the other ghosts to gripe about how you were killed, comment on the situation, etc.
So it's not really possible to devolve into a situation like Tomoshika's Mario Kart stream where she's so far behind everyone else on the track that she's not interacting with anyone and is basically shut out.
