>>110131171>They offer her security if nothing else. It's easy to coast along as Scarle. Her income has been declining a lot. NijiEN is losing about 40% of its viewers per year. Scarle these days makes a fraction of what she used to. NijiEN is hampering her appeal, while providing her *absolutely nothing*. She gets some outfits and models, but that's not worth 50% of her income.
She makes somewhere around $50k, and the overwhelming majority of that is superchats from 5-10 gachis. If she left, that income would be instantly double. She could buy the outfits and models herself, easily. To put it another way, imagine if Pillowdear decided to join NijiEN. She would sacrifice 1/2 her income, and most of her popularity, and in return get...a bit of 2D artwork with some rigging? That's insane, nobody would take that bargain, except Scarle I guess.
She has a very small audience, so she largely doesn't participate in live shows or merch or anything like that. She is reluctant to collab in case her moneybags leave her. To that effect, she has literally nothing to gain from being in the company. It's not like a popular JP who relies on 3D events and big collabs to generate their audience, quite the contrary. So in this instance, it's difficult to see what the company is even providing her. Hex is another talent just like her, who realized this. He left NijiEn, doubled his income, and didn't lose a wink of sleep over it.
>>110130752She is being cajoled into staying by people who don't care about her. They are compelling her to make an extremely irrational decision probably to benefit themselves. At some point her gravy train is gonna come to an end, and then she'll wish she took a different path. She is supporting what is basically an evil organization, and she isn't even profiting.
