>>11030085>700k is a lot, but I think Anya would actually have at least slightly more than Kiara based on her design. That people will think “cute”, and the rest is meaningless. Did Mumei need to talk much at first? No, not really. But she’s “cute” and in Hololive.Being cute can only get you so far. And, although this might just be my personal opinion, Anya's model is not cute. In fact, if it really was a good model, she would have had more subs than Reine at the start. Also, 600-700k subs in the span of 13 months for a member of HoloMyth is underperforming severely. Lest we forget that it only took roughly half a year for Ina and Kiara to get to 1 mil. Something thats probably not gonna get replicated for awhile, even by future EN Gens
>Sana did badly before debut because of her design. Anya would have had lots of subs (off the Gen2 hype) before even her debut date. Think about it.>Again, she would have been on par with Sana for a bit but like I told you earlier Anya is a charisma vacuum. I'm pretty sure that the veeerrry few fans that Anya has here would agree that Sana would eventually mog her.>That defeats the point of this thought experiment. I don’t care about where she was before. Then what do you want me to use as a reference? It's like saying that your uncle would be your aunt if he didn't have a dick.
>So Ina drawing means 1 million subs, while others who can draw well outside of Hololive don’t deserve that number of subs? Face it, Ina was also being carried by the Holo label.Ina isn't just some YouTube streamer who draws well. She's someone who actually gets hired by corpos. She'd be near the top of the list in terms of drawing talent for either company.
>Oh boy, I guess that explains her sub count. She can speak Japanese! No one else can do that!Believe when I say that I am not a fan of the orange chicken and I'm doing my very best to provide an objective take on her contributions to Hololive while not letting my dislike for her taint my following statements. Kiara being fluent in multiple languages is a plus but is not the main reason why cover hired her. She was an ex-idol, and the fact that she has such a cult-like following as small as they are relative to her genmates, attest to that fact. In short, she does have charisma. Her being an extrovert and blunt personality was needed to balance out Myth as a group. And she has, more times than I'm willing to admit, helped other myth members to be more extroverted, especially during their first month (results may vary of course). She was basically the equivalent of a JP senpai to myth since they couldn't really ask for help from their actual JP senpai. She is an important cog to the HoloMyth machine. I'm hard-pressed to think of any NijiEn that can fill her shoes, at least based on what they've shown as of the moment.
So yeah, we'll both have to just agree to disagree at this point. You asked for my thought process, there you have it.
