It's a character and some songs are playing into that (which is why she wants to keep both, for the time being), but other songs have her real feelings put into it. There's often that self-deprecating aspect to balance it out. To show she doesn't think she's bigger/better than anyone else, she's just as weak at times. She is extremely humble and never expected big success, but she has filled those shoes and it's given her so much that she wants to share it as much as she can.
>>1120120This is true. Fame is a double-edged sword and one of the things I detest is when a celebrity starts thinking they should influence things because "I'm famous, you should listen to me." Mori's life has changed, overwhelmingly for the better, but she clearly feels like she has larger expectations to be met. It causes stress, sure, but she also feels more drive as an artist.
Vtubers are afforded that rare combination of being able to have large fanbases but still live a quiet life if they wish. Which is why their privacy should be respected.
