Overwhelming hatred for Instagram plus the fact that she quits high school suggest that she might not have had a very good time growing up, and coupled with all the stuff anon said above. I had to drown one kitten because I can only raise one of them. Not even a few days later the last kitten ate something, became really sick then also died. The following day after that, and I shit you not, my grandma passed away. Is this life's cruelest joke or what?

At the very least Shion and Aqua have each other for emotional support, so neither of them are totally alone. I don't think there's any real risk of current day Shion doing something dangerous if she's got someone to open up to like this and can express her emotions in a healthy way. It's only been a few months but Shion's grown up quite a lot and has become better at opening up about her problems instead of depresshionposting on her roommate's fanbox.
