I'm just kinda disappointed considering this is a gen of 4 amazing singers.
It's still a good song but I was hoping a song with more emphasis on their vocals rather than such heavy mixing and such a loud instrumental that drowns them out.
It's like they went for a really safe route like Black Out without knowing their new girls are actually really talented.

My sentiments exactly. It was underwhelming, the music drowned out the singing, and the only thing I'd add is that as a native English speaker, hearing the song begin with accented English speech was a bit off putting. It just set the wrong tone for the rest of the song. Whoever decided that she'd be doing the monologue of an English song was a moron.

Unironically. They're all closer together in terms of ability which may lift all their boats.

Obsydia is basically Selen and her two sidekicks, while Lazulight is blue dragon, forest fairy and their charity case. Varying levels of ability will inherently cause fans to diverge and ghettoize. If Gen 3 shares fans, Petra and Finana might have something to worry about.

Why? It's the definition of bog standard j-pop style, almost like eroge OPs that broke companies would pay for with whatever change they have left.

The songs fit the gen. This one was released prior to the gen's debut without any visuals whatsoever. Part of why it's so off is because it was created as a thematic promo for chubas we haven't even seen streaming yet, and intended to be viewed alongside some bangin' illustrations. The audio alone is unironically out of context.
