wagecucking sucks but the great thing about cleaning toilets or washing dishes is that you can keep your head down and listen to music or think about things. it's honestly pretty easy.
the easy thing about streaming is sitting still and drinking hot cocoa. the hard thing is being entertaining and being capable of pumping out 20 hours of unscripted ad-libbed content every week and keeping people interested. Everyone thinks it's a dream job because they think of the first week and not week 52.
it's like any other entertainment job. yes there are perks, it might even pay really damn well (if you're lucky) and there's really fun moments perhaps, but you're also constantly socially burnt out and expected to hit constant home runs
the reality is that most people who think of it as some kind of panacea for their miserable existence would burn out the same way Ame has.
A) because they're financially motivated rather than having some kind of genuine lasting passion for the medium which will sustain them even during low periods and B) because they don't possess the super human level of emotional resilience and social intelligence a lot of long term artists do
It's not the only factor that determines longevity but anyone who makes it in the creative industries also has the stomach to go the distance, that's just a prerequisite before you get through the door.
