>>11224422Her primary return of investment is the time shes spending with her audience and she enjoys the experience of vtubing. Sure i care for the numbers too, i was happy when my viewership jumped up by 1 when i used to stream, despite streaming just as a means to focus. But i know shes smart enough to realise that she wont be pulling big as nijisanjis on their debut. I cant make advices on networking an marketing though. I saw Koopa had a thread on vtuber reddit on her pre-debut day, but it had 0 replys. If i was a marketing lord, i'd just pretend to be the average consumer and start namedropping my chuba client here and there, encourage discussions by pretending to be different people, the scummy stuff. But this sort of tactic is very time consuming and exhausting mentally if you're not a professional shiller. Also creating videos clips i think is worth their weight in gold, so i respect our boards video editor alot.
Maybe if every liker on twitter also retweeted more of her better tweets/schedule, that could have an effect? But i wouldn't want to pressure that, everyones twitter is their own garden they care for in their own way and to some people its their bussiness. Maybe drop some mentions in the relevant threads, like western/indie vtubers and such some weeks before debut too could help.
In the end, people have to know you exist. Just being good at something isn't enough to get you the recognition you deserve. Quite a popular issue with artists, they're horrible advertisers. The reason you see stuff on instagram isn't because they were good, its because they shamelessly bombarded the shilling.
