>>11164089>>11169775>>11174559It's just another case of Cover trying to cash in in other medias, notably anime and video games, but failing. It's kind of sad really. They know they have enough girls to try something but they haven't realized yet that it's not as easy as just throwing the girls on stream on their own. It really looks like that the people at Cover can only do management, exit the girls they really have no other talents there. If you take a closer look we have:
*a failed hololive alternative metaverse attempt, clearly too ambitious for Cover to manage
*their amateurish official Youtube "anime" show that just looks like baby's first MMD animation
*an upcoming Breath of the Hololive game, assuming it even gets finished, that will look bland and generic as fuck
*an upcoming Hololive Error that will just look like generic horror game #758 that autistic streamers love to yell at for free views
So far the only way they managed to put the girls anywhere else than on streams is in those collab events or guest characters that you usually find in gacha games.
And to my disdain, not only the hologirls are terrible at voice acting but there is somehow no fucking quality control from Cover even there. I remember checking the voice lines in some battleship gacha game and there was no quality control whatsoever on the mics, which indicates that the girls probably recorded everything in their own room so the quality was obviously all over the place.
