>>11247148Thank you! It is okay, kudoboards are really scary. You are wonderful, and thank you for caring about me. I love you a lot, too. I wish I could give back to this thread to show my appreciation.
>>11247278>Gimmicky zatsudans seem a bit odd to me but I guess they could work if executed right. There are some streamers who do things like have chat dictate what they eat during the zatsudan or they have a way they have to interact or talk. I think those are super interesting!
>Assuming you have an oshi, what made you realize they were the one? What pushes them above the others, and how far would you go to help them along? This is really complex because I do have an oshi (Corpse) but I also have streamers that are very high up to pseudo oshi level (like Kongou and Randon) who inspire me a metric ton.
For me, I think it was Corpse because of her wit and humor. When I watched streamers, I would hunt down streamers who used no cam and did not have a mic, which is extremely uncommon (luckily, the content I prefer is things like SHMUPs and fangames/romhacks, and it is more common in those communities). So Corpse just sort of fell into what I tend to prefer either way. Silent playthroughs, but with commentary and humor. She does something incredibly debuffing in an incredibly debuffing way, but she still manages to not only maintain a fun environment, but also kind of pull you into her kayfabe in a way that betrays you. I am a heavy reader/writer, so maybe my brain just works this way, but having to read her comments alongside the gameplay sort of puts me in the same headspace as when I am reading a book and I am expecting to be more immersed. Hard to explain.
I just have a burning desire to have her seen by as many people as possible who would get the same feelings from her. Her streams are incredibly special to me, even the ones where she plays a game I know nothing about. I have no idea how to push her along... I try to talk about her to everyone and I have a command in my channel for her, as well. But I am pretty bad at shilling (see myself for evidence of that) so I have no idea how to do it properly... I really hope she can grow even more, and I am glad people watch and enjoy her content. I just wish Youtube would show her real view count... during her last Youtube cytube, there were 37 people in cytube and it said she only had 6 views... I recently learned that adblock does not count you as a viewer, so I started turning that off and it still makes me angry.
For Kongou, it is because he is insanely talented, driven, and is always doing things that push his style of vtubing to greater heights. He is one of my major inspirations, and I am always thinking of new ways to have fun streaming when I watch him. He is amazingly kind, accommodating, and goes out of his way to help people new to the scene. It is hard to put all his charm points into a single paragraph, but Kongou is just amazing and driven in a way that inspires me immensely.
Randon is just a genius, truly. A great entertainer, a funny guy, and his streams are always a blast even if he plays games I would never watch normally. He is always thinking of new ways to present his content and his pre-recorded stuff is what inspired me to start looking into it myself. He also worked really hard to make sure his model/aesthetic portrayed him and involved all his interests and he is not afraid to get into his hyperfixations on stream. I love things like that, and hearing what people love. He is just so skilled at doing all the above in the ideal way while maintaining the "hanging out with a cool friend" energy I get from watching facecam streamers.
There are also people that inspire me in other ways like Leaflit, Yoro, Alker, Alice, Nina, Charlotte, etc... but I have already written too much...
I apologize, this was probably way more than you were asking for but! I hope it answers your question.
