I had a dream last night imagining nijiEN getting 3D debuts. The stream starts at 9pm jst, and Selen, the most popular nijiEN at the time overtaking the male nijiEN in popularity is starting. SCs are rolling in, but all I see is reds from US dollars, Euros, Canadian dollars and some green and yellows from Yen. It all adds only to $9-12k in the end. It was a so-so performance from Selen. Not dancing nor singing. A quiz show from Kuzuha and Kanae. I questioned, "Where is the promised payday of 3D debuts? Don't livers earn $20k+ from this. This is her big break. The wait after 2 long years. The grind for her was unreal to reach 5k median. Do they not understand the blue haha dragon?". Then, it all hit me. They aren't exactly popular nor appealing to the common niji tourists which is the Japanese. They wouldn't care for her nor support her. It's all coming down.
Fast forward a day later, I saw Selen at the Anykara's office. Riku stands infront of her and hands over her an envelope of her salary from the 3D debut. He explained that due to production costs of the 3D and travel cost, we'll have to cut most of the SC profits so this is what's left for you. Selen received the envelope and counted the money inside it. "Only $2000? My big break only amounts to this much? I earn more from this by milking my gachis on streams. This is pathetic. I should've joined EN4." Selen tries to slap Riku, but Riku caught her wrist. He whispered, "I own you. Don't forget that."
