Okay number thread regular here to share what I know
Youtube takes 30% (public knowledge) and Cover takes half of the remaining amount (alluded to by Coco and others), that gives Coco and soon Rushia 1 million USD from total superchats alone, for someone closer to the middle of the pack like Subaru she has ~$300k total minus the cuts
there's also:
Memberships (the top girls have at least 10k which gives roughly $35k a month after YT's cut, it's unknown what Cover takes from this)
Merch (Nene's birthday set came with numbered "husband membership cards" that went over 6000 and cost over ~$136, so theoretically $800k in revenue, we don't know what the production costs and Cover cut are though
Sponsorships (what we know the least about, however various vtubers have suggested this is actually their biggest source of income)
Concert tickets (Bloom apparently sold over 50k tickets at I believe $50 each, that's $2.5m in revenue although split between a lot of participants. Watame's sololive numbers are unknown but the venue had a reduced 1.5k capacity and needed a lottery system to assign physical tickets, even if just 5 times as many people were watching on stream which is a lowball guess that's almost $500k in ticket sales for one talent alone)
Music sales (Suisei's album has sold at least 16k physical copies excluding imports alone, giving a revenue of $464,000 without even considering downloads or international sales)
Youtube ad revenue (an absolute minefield to try and understand so let's take the easy way out and use a website that calculates it from the channel URL, the ones I tried ranged from $200k to $700k)
And probably more that I can't think of right now, also bear in mind there's still a handful of girls for whom this is just a side gig and they make even more from roommate channels
tl:dr these girls are rich as fuck and probably set for life as long as they're not as retarded with their money as most lottery winners are
