Nerine is a menhera. Her past life had 200k subs on youtube, she was having a nice income thanks to patreon for making youtube videos and was generally liked by everyone.
It wasn't until 2020 when it was clear her mental state was starting to deteriorate, starting to make retarded tweets and political activism. She clearly was burned out of doing essay videos, and announced the end of her activities as a youtuber, and deleted her old twitter account to then create the current Nerine one (this was announced by the time the HoloEN auditions were evaluated so a lot of anons thought she was going to join HoloEN).
Everyone was fine until they found out she privated all her videos, which led to twitter slapfights where Nerine couldn't stop sperging on her followers and starting to reach delusional menhera levels with stuff like "I'll be the one to bring back respect to content creators".
At some point she realised how broken she was, announcing a hiatus for mental health, promising she'll return to streaming but now as something that will happen sporadically.
Months go by and she comes back, rebranding both her twitch and Nerine account and becomes a vtuber((or vstreamer as she likes to call, the girl is pretty much traumatized by youtube), promising new content that wouldn't be possible with her old persona .
Instead streams were a significant downgrade from her past life streams, full of awkward silences, lack of enthusiasm and a heavily moderated chat where your messages will be deleted for no reason whatsoever.
She starts to fail her schedule, cancelling streams left and right, to then admitting she's not in a good spot at all.
All of this continue until a certain thread about her was made, but while that thread was just like any other Nerine thread with the same complains anons had about her. This one was particular because during her stream that day, it gave the impression she was reading it, where she talked about her content, how she was afraid of making new content because she tought her audience will hate her.
The next day she made a post in her past life youtube, adressing complains that were being talked there (the privatization of her videos, the rrat that she was making money off patreon for a while after announcing the end of her youtube activities, the reason why she made private her old videos) and also made her videos public again.
She then started her meds arc (I'm not joking, she's going to a medic and taking her meds) but her schedule is still a complete mess with cancellations left and right.
She has said that she was feeling pretty lonely and wanted to be part of a group (the reason why there's so many nijifans that speculate about her joining all the time). I wanna feel sorry for her, but she ghosted a lot of her old friends from her youtube days that her current loneliness is 100% her fault and unless you are another vtuber, e-celeb or an artist, she won't reply to you.
All in all, she's prime saviourfag material, a broken girl with self-esteem issues and self-destructive tendencies
