I knew what it was because of a collab with a gacha game I play, but never looked into it. Spent 6 months as a clip watcher (sorry) before I watched the odd full streams of Subaru as she was my favourite after all that time. From then, I seen her 3D collab with Luna, playing that VR horror game and I changed allegiances. I liked Subaru -- still do -- but I realised Luna was more to my tastes and eventually became a lunaito and watch her streams exclusively. I've seen few clips of other holos this year...
