She then lost some traction after she almost did only collabs as stream and mostly read other vtubers in her chat, but she's coming back a bit more solo streams and viewer focus so maybe checking her again soon can be worth it.

Having t he vtuber reads the thread does change the dynamic, and anons' expectations can't always be met forever. They're certainly not worse than anyone out there, and some do have pretty unique and interesting specifities. Why not give it a try.
