You either pick up broader niche to specialise in, like horror games, retro, fps, or just play minecraft and do anything popular on the side. If people expect you to play minecraft, they won't be there to see your niche pick of the day. If they are conditioned to think you are playing one genre, they can stomach some variety in that genre.
People shout and screech for some variety but in truth, they want the things to stay mostly the same. People fear new things and go for trusted, well known route.
And almost no one wants to watch strategy games, well, besides some hardcore fans. You don't need to be vtuber to do this sort of content. Neither facecam.
