Nowadays his name doesn't hold much power but it's still used, which changes the perception of people. "If these scumbags are peronists, then Peron was a fucking scumbag".
Saying that anything Peron did was for power and thus finding an easy target to blame is very stupid when these times were turbulent as fuck for a lot of places in the world and his politics adapted (WW2, Cold war).
Disregard the selfhating big city fags. This place has really bad politics and economics for various decades, and still stands better than the rest of SA. It's very complicated and the first ones to try to explain this are very biased.
