>>11608348Nord hours are something else. But, I sees a survey, I respond.
1) It usually takes a few links, and they have to have something I'm at least mildly interested in on the docket, and be going live fairly near the link time. Viewing time is limited on my end, so I have to make it count since I've already got about a zillion chuubas I want to watch.
2) Best is getting you out of the "literally 2-views" hole immediately, since there's horror stories of taking more than a month to meet the Twitch Affiliate criteria. Mixed is the POTENTIAL, but not even close to the guarantee, of actual usable feedback and criticism on stream qualities and assets. Worst is that you WILL pick up some schizoposts, sometimes a shitload, but being a public figure means someone will spend time throwing shit at you to see if it sticks, so it's just another avenue.
3) Best bird perks are a convenient place to pin your schedule, tag your art, and make announcements. There's the partial bonus of getting to shitpost with your followers and friends in a mostly-neutral environment too. Worst is that the bird site is also designed to suck out your soul and chain you to the algorithm, if your intent is to grow bigger using it. It will chew you up, remove all the fun parts about you, and crumble you into a measly pile of updoots, if you let it. Basically, use with caution.
4) YouTube does care, at least some small part, about livestreaming content in addition to the bread-and-butter of videos. They wouldn't bother to ape the "live clipping" feature if there was no care at all. However, by sheer volume of incompetence, and lack of features innate to the website, small individuals, or circles of individuals, don't really benefit via use of YouTube as the "streaming" platform. No raids, janky chat, absolutely dogshit analytics handling (ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING GOOGLE IS BIG BROTHER ITSELF), higher barrier-to-START-monetization. That said, store your VODs, clips, and shitposts there people, it's literally free, and you get to play Algo-Simulator.
Hope you are having a good day, vamp.
