Fans are fans - to preferentially elevate or shit on certain fans just because they're from certain sites is in of itself going to cause butthurt. Respect all your fans and like them all equally. /vt/ itself is also a distinct entity from 4chan as a whole.
If you used 4chan for a long-ass time but as a legit hobbyist (basically /a/-/jp/, /v/ or /co/) you're a respectable kind of /here/, like Ina or Pomu. You don't want validation from 4chan as a generic entity because you have the tact/standards to recognize you don't WANT the attention of /b/tards and /pol/tards etc along with your people from /a/ and so on. If people can pick up on it by how you talk/reference things then it's just a nice easter egg and that's it.
It is however, dumb to literally market yourself as a/the 4chan tuber, as in @4chan the site, however, which is basically what Pippa, Koopa and Kiki (and soon to be Nade) are doing. Nyanners also did that initially. To this day, she still talks like an old school 2cool4u 4channer sometimes long long after things went south here.

She has actively shilled on reddit etc trying to just grow wherever - it just so happens that this place is what picked her up from being literally nothing and helped build her up. That is the way to do it basically.
