The 3 dogs were getting old and we couldn't support them anymore. My mother did her best to kill them peacefully.
She had to make the meat tender, so she did have to shock them first then suffocate them. The chinese do a similar thing but burn them, which is making them suffer. My mother just suffocated them to sleep by wrapping a bag around their nose and mouth then she sat on them until they died.
