>>11700041It's complicated to explain and will also get into rrat territory. But I'm bored so here goes.
First you have to understand relationship between holos are not all flowers and sunshine. They are competing with each other for viewers.
The way they keep the tension minimal is by TeeTee and camaraderie.
Pekomiko at their golden age in 2019, was more about Peko and her sidekick foil. It's a two man act but Peko was the star.
Whether it's model quality, game skills, one of them is clearly the superior. Miko herself is happy playing the foil because she's slightly masochistic and simps Peko.
But after Miko came back from her sickness, and got her new 3D model, she slowly became a legitimate rival to Peko.
Things slowly heated up during their tiny competition to see who will get the ending of Yakuza first. This was early Jan 2021. Then Pekos weird birthday thing happens, and imo Mikos birthday was far more fun. Peko never congratulated Miko.
My take is Peko felt awkward seeing how fast Miko was rapidly improving.
As someone who used to be on top, it must be weird for her to banter with Miko the way they used to, now that they're more on equal footing.
I would argue this is somewhat similar to how Aqua must feel watching Peko overtake her to become the No.1. You can check and see how often Aqua and Peko Collab.
If you've seen the old Evangelion TV, you can also see this personal drama play out between Shinji and Asuka. Asuka used to be the undisputed ace of the group. She and Shinji had differences but they were ok as a team. Then she gets some humble pie and she sees Shinji catching up to her level. Now things become weird between them. That's just how it is.
