People who try to reveal your identity will always exist regardless. Removing the streamer's voice, one of the most important part of a streamer and especially for a vtuber is just giving yourself a massive handicap for no good reason.
The only believable reasoning to use text to speech is if you either have a very annoying voice, have a speech impediment or....you're a dude trying to be a female vtuber.
Look, I don't even mind if she's actually a dude. But just don't try to trick people and pretending to be a woman.
