And really, "Please buy my voicepacks" is basically just "I'm going through hard times, please (as my fans) donate". And clearly it worked well enough, since at this point this is nearly a year old news and she started streaming again 3 fucking months ago. Not that the people using her as a weapon actually give a damn.
(I'm also curious if people actually believe Cover would just like... give their idols money just because they can. You can't actually believe that. And don't even bring up their salary, because we can infer from what they've said that's far from a living wage. It's only enough that there's some expectation that they stream regularly to earn it.)
