The key to good looking buildings isn't a scale, its depth. With all blocks being 1mx1m cubes, it's hard to have depth. People tend to build large because those 1m cubes become smaller when used in a 200x200 building as opposed to a 20x20. This allows them to use them to create details not otherwise possible.

But there are ways around it and it's possible to create a huge amount of depth in small spaces. If you have a 5x5 flat wall, replace all of the center blocks with walls instead. You've now added a second layer of depth to a single 1x5x5 wall. You can then extend this idea again by making the inner 3x3 a slightly darker shade, say deepslate walls instead of stone brick. This gives the illusion of shading and a third dimension of depth to the same 1x5x5 wall.

here ya go mate. A bit of visual aid with 6 steps of improving a simple wall. Tried to stay as simple as possible with each step to help make cobblestone cubes a bit more interesting and keep it as close as possible to the base 1x5x10 wall. I'm sure it could be made magnitudes better if you spent longer than 5 total on building all of them like I did.

Hmmm, i don't know the answer for that sadly. but you could try to migrate your account to XBL as a last option in order to try make it work. (you'll have to do it either way because all mojang accounts will get terminated after a year or something. i personally waited until multimc added the api for the login system because i play on linux/w10 on different machines)

Now that there's been time since MineCon, and we know 1.17 worlds will be able to be carried forward, there's two options for going forward which are roughly equally popular
>Temporarily roll the world border back to 10k, delete all the outer chunks, then re-expand to 20k after patch
>Make a new multiverse world for 1.18 with a portal to freely go between the old and new world

Expand world border. Restart is a bad idea, what people like is the culture and established buildings and history. Constatntly adding to it is cool.
