>>11866061I haven't checked if any big vtuber even attempted to play Darkest Dungeon. Though this isn't just for Darkest Dungeon, but it seems for any long game. She mentioned to put things on "rotation" when the audience gets tired of it. You can see it with RPG streams when viewership tanks as more streams get tacked on unless you're near the finale, or very story intensive games in general.
I haven't seen anyone use a rotation yet, but how long is long enough to cool off of a game? When you get back will you even remember what to do? I guess since they're a streamer chat will pretty much guide them through back seating so it might not be as big of a problem. On the other hand it will be perceived as a dropped game which irritates people. There are obviously people that play these sorts of games (I use to watch a decent amount of DolphinChemist years ago and he primarily specializes in roguelites like DD, FTL, Tharsis, and so on) but at the moment western vtubers are variety streamers than specialist ones at the moment.
